I’ve already redone this tub front once, I talk about it in this post. But now that I’m doing a more permanent bathroom remodel I wanted to change it up again since I had to remove the last one when I redid the floors. I ordered this pole wrap from a friends Etsy shop, I’m super excited about this project because I’ve always wanted to work with pole wrap! Mine came rolled up in a 4×8 sheets, the size of a full size sheet of plywood. I believe she has different sizes you can order.

You can just cut it with a miter saw when it’s rolled up.

I glued the pole wrap onto some brown board I cut to size to make it more stable, then I brought it in for a test fit.

It fit great so I got out the liquid nails and started gluing it to the side of the tub.

The clear glue I used to glue the pole wrap on to the brown board wasn’t sticking well so I peeled it off and put it back on with liquid nails too.

Then I made sure it was all on there really well, I pushing the pole wrap flat everywhere.

There were areas that were wanting to bow out from being wrapped up so I grabbed some of my weights and leaned them against it for a few hours till the liquid nails was dry.

While that was drying I ran to Lowe’s and picked up some painters tape and trim for the top. When I got home I glued the corner trim piece onto the top where the edge of the pole wrap and brown board was showing.

I taped it in place just to be sure it was on there tight.

Once that was dry I caulked everything really well to make sure water won’t get behind it and damage anything. Once the caulk was dry I painted it Alabaster by SW like the rest of the bathroom. This stuff is kind of a pain to paint! I had to get a small paint brush to get in the grooves on the top and bottom where it was hard to reach with the full sized paint brush.

And now the bathtub area is pretty much done!

Although, I would like to replace that metal hanging thing on the left side with something else, just not sure what yet. Maybe some artwork or a plant wall since that space gets a good amount of light.
